# Diagnostic Explanations When a Diagnostic is run, any findings are flagged for explanation. Since a [Projects](projects.html.md#projects) can have many [Drafts](drafts.html.md#drafts) any explanations for a finding flagged in one Draft should also be acceptable for the same finding in another draft within that Project. Explanations can be managed at the Project level. Any Explanations entered for Diagnostics on Drafts within the Project are listed in the Project Explanations and can be deleted (reset) if the explanation is not acceptable. An Explanation can also be edited there. Click **Edit** beside it, change the text and click **Save**. The Explanation then shows you as its author, with the date of your change. Editing and resetting Explanations both need the Explain Diagnostic Results permission.
